Uncompromising Quality
The system is available in two different sizes (units with back-up are also available), both offering the proverbial Schüco quality. The collector consists of high quality, corrosion-resistant aluminium with hailstone resistant 4mm clear glass. The storage cylinder is galvanized and has a weather resistant coating. The cylinder has an unusually long lifecycle even when subjected to extreme weather conditions.
Optimum potable water hygiene
Schüco thermosiphon systems always work with two separate circuits, i.e. the potable water is not heated in the collector itself but hygienically through the solar fluid circulating within the cylinder jacket.
High level solar radiation demands high standards
Schüco thermosiphon systems are manufactured to satisfy the special requirements of sunny areas such as the Mediterranean. The result is a system able to withstand the highest flactuations in temperature.
Optimum connection and attractive design
The way in which the return flow is integrated with the collector is a truly iinnovative feature , and has an additional benefit of concealing ang protecting the connecting pipe. To further improve the appearance, the distance between the collector and the storage cylinder is minimized to provide an especially high-quality monoblock design
Two methods of installation for the most common roof types
The flatroof installation is especially common in Southern Europe. For the thermosiphon systems, Schüco provides flatroof stands made from especially strong aluminium L profiles with securing cruciform.
Alternatively , the thermosiphon system can be fitted to a pitched roof, for which Schüco provides the appropriate roof anchors and installation profiles, even for unusual roofs.
